I’ve wanted to photograph Ospreys for a couple of years, and finally I had the opportunity this year. Courtesy of GJ Wildlife I spent a few days at the Rothiemurchus Fisheries in purpose-built hides. Early starts – in the hides by 4am! – were tiring but worthwhile. Watching the light change during the dawn is a magical experience – made all the more special by Ospreys diving just metres in front of you.
I enjoyed it so much I’ve already booked to return next year!
